Teaching children to respect animals
Published by Secret Family Farm
Contact with animals is a wonderful learning experience — as long as a few simple rules are followed.
At the farm, the animals roam free and can always withdraw. That's the first lesson to pass on to children: an animal that walks away is not to be chased, carried or forced.
Only the food provided in the basket or approved by the team is given, zones and instructions are respected, children are accompanied, and hands are washed after contact. Feedings and workshops recall these rules before starting.
Our animal welfare charter details all our commitments: respected rest rhythms, permanent access to water, clean shaded spaces, health monitoring and supervised interactions.
